Fun with Stamps, Stencils, Acetate paper too. The florals are the Feb Stamp of the month set.

For the bottom, I glued strips of 1/2 inch pieces of paper on acetate paper. I spaced them slightly so they would show a space.  I cut the paper to the appropriate size for the card. When placed over a solid paper, it looks like you glued the strips on the paper. Easy Peasy!!!

Making and giving cards to others brings me such joy. Here are a few I have made recently.

I used the stencil on the top part with the Tim Holtz Oxide inks. Our blending brushes, or foam  work well with the stencils. The paper was front he CRISP AIR paper pack. I used the leaves from the AUGUST STAMP OF THE MONTH SET you can get for just $5.00

The left sidebar paper is the new IRRESTIBLES PAPER  I just love it. Add whatever color you like.
Layer everything. Remember… Go ahead and emboss cutout images. Have fun!

A little hello card.

An Easy card with Distress Oxide Inks

Distress Oxide inks are fun to use. They are different. You do not stamp with them as much as blend and use over stencils. I LOVE THEM. Here is a card I did. I made about 22 today. I usually do not make that many in a day. I am not as quick as whipping out cards as I used to be. Today things clicked.  I designed this and made enough to send out to my team. I do not know if you can tell but I did use our shimmer brushes to color in the flower.

Chelsea Gardens Paper Pack and Silver embossing!

I used vellum over the pattern paper to soften it a bit. Then I inked the stamp set with the Versamark ink pad and used Silver embossing powder. For the Congratulations, I used Black pigment ink and our detail Clear embossing powder.
I colored the florals and leaves and went over it with our Clear shimmer brush.

For both the cards, I used our new Make it from your Heart Card pattern book #4. It has great card patterns. You will love how easy it is to follow and the samples included.
